Glint - Why kill her?

Hi Guys.

We recently killed Glint, but I haven't understand why we did it. I mean: yes, we wanted to complete the bonus, but storywise there seems to be no reason for me.

She seemed kind of nice...

when i killed her the first and only time, i fell to my knees, and started to cry desperately, the moment we reached droknar's.

Yes, Glint is nice, so was Halbion, Dorian, vizier etc. In this game, we are the ultimate villains and assasins, kill for the bad guys and good guys alike. We even killed Rurik in the end. No one is spared on our way to get that nice piece of armor. Shiny heroes, are we? No, we are a collection of worthless and greedy scums from god-knows-where.

JUST a little moment.... i think Hablion deserved it! i mean, locking away someones soul, sorry, mate, THAT is exactly what my definition of "being nice´" doesnt cover.

end yes, my chars would be villains, drunkards and assasins. except ged sho. that humble, noble and nice monk, constantly protecting those other villains drunkards and assasins out there.

Hablion was sacrificing the needs of a few for the needs of the many. A difficult deciscion to make. Their souls kept the soul barrier closed and kept the Titans in check. Which kept Tyria safe.Talk to one of the ghosts in Hells Precipice, he will tell you all about it. We are the dopes that helped the undead Lich nearly take over the world. Although we rectified our mistake. I am just curious what happens next? I mean what about the Charr, and poor king Adelbern? The Stone Summit are still terrorizing Deldrimor. Who are the Mursaat really? Does it ever explain them? They were just kind of there after you reached the second part of the Shiverpeakes. I mean I know kind of who they are. The story is obviously not finished, to many loose ends. I can not wait for the next patch/expansion that helps the story along.

Hablion and Rurik didn't treat us nice They attacked first (or at least were red dots), but poor Glint? She's just relaxing in her cave, guarding her kids and telling stories to us. And she got a very friendly voice (at least in the german version).

And we just killed her for 1000xp

But last time I checked it, she got resurrected and is still sitting in that cave

Yes Glint has a nice voice in the english version as well. Sort of like a grandmother.

Do you ever stop to think maybe these creatures we are killing senselessly might be endangered animals? I mean how do we know the Bog Skale population is thriving and can take this kind of brutal killing? We are after all in their terroritory. They leave the cities well enough alone, and we go into their swamp and kill them all. Men, women, children, young and old.

The Glint population is surely pretty small, especially if you are stealing eggs.
