Hi, lets say a lvl 20 char is changing the secundary to ranger and charms a pet. This pet will be lvl 15 (depends on where you charm animal) and needs experience to get to lvl 20.
If this lvl 20 is taking this pet to a lower lvl area/mission in which the owner does get 0 XP, does the pet still get XP? Or is the pet only gaining XP if the owner gains XP?
Curious to see the answer.
Experience for pets
Suuk
Ninna
I trained a level 5 lizard when I was 20
I saw my pet level on stuff that was giving me zero exp
pets get experience according to pet level
(not owner level)

I traded my level 20 wolf for a level 5 bear. I was able to level the bear faster by training him while wearing a major beast mastery rune. However, I don't take him on missions, I find those 2 skill slots can be filled by more useful choices.

oh and on topic arent pets meant to not get exp from quests and missions ? only from monsters

This could be an exploit who knows, but your pet will lvl even if dead.So take your lvl 1 pet or what ever to an area with high lvl mobs, let em die and just keep killin stuff.Use this at your own discretion because i have no idea how AN decides what is an exploit, its a mystery to me.
