Where is Ascalon Settlement?

Where is this Ascalon settlement? I can't find it on the map. I need to know where it is because I want Meteor Shower for my Elementalist

there is one north of lions arch, its not a town you can travle to on the map but there is a skill trainer there.

The settlement does not show up on the map Its a quest you get when leaving Lion's Arch. You lead the Cynn, Devonia, and others there. just leave LA and you will see them standing there, approch but do not talk to them, let their conversation take its course. Then you will see an native there with the green !, talk to her then Devonia and you will get the quest to lead them to the settlement. If I remember right its NNW of lions arch. Good luck

It's towards the Northwest corner of "North Kryta Province" (North of Lion's Arch).

This must be for certain proffessions (Devona and her lot, not the Settlement). I never met them outside Lion's Arch.

As to the Settlement, it might be quicker form Gates of Kryta, but I'm not sure.

Go to Bergen Hot Springs or Beetletum from the east and you will pass it.

As far as I understand it, and I could be wrong, the settlement quest was part of the last patch. Whether its class specific or not, don' know, it never really occoured to me.

Its not profession base the quest will award you a skill for your primary and secondary profession no matter what it is. The quest was added after the 6/15 update last wed. IF they are not there for what ever reason this is the fastest way I have found to get there. When you come out of lions arch turn left up the path. Before the bridge you will see a path on your right this will take you to the farm where you can get some other quests. When you get to the farm turn left and cross the bridge. After you cross the bridge turn north and follow the edge of the river. Keep follow the river till you come to an open field on your left. Cross the field heading west/north west and you will see Ascalon settlement. The skill trainer will be standing on a hill just inside the entrance to the left.

Huh, I just ran a character there for the first time, still haven't seen the Cool Kids (Devona & co.) out there.

They aren't out there, they are right outside LA

well anyhow i know the skill trainer in that settlement is part of the mission merchants plea so doing this quest leads you directly to him ^^
