Re-Dying Items

From the screenshots I've seen the 15k set platemail dyed black looks... not black enough.

I was wondering if dying it again with black would make it more black. This would only work depending on the dying system of the game.

I have 7 black dyes, I don't know why, I just like black. So it would only take 5 more to redye everything black. (Including the grip of my fellblade)

Dyes can be mixed 4 times, so theoretically you could mix 4 black dyes and apply to one piece of armour, however I'm not rich enough yet to experiment with mixing black dyes.
