Leaving a Guild

I am currently in a guild which I accidently joined. I want to leave it but cannot figure out how. Is the only way to be banned?

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is press 'G' to access your guild menu. Then you click on the little head next to your name and one of the options that it gives you is to quit.

it should be a popup box when you join the guild with intereactive step-by-spet instructions

J/K but at least once a day ingame someone asks this question and I ,being the nice guy that I am, whisper them how to quit, followed by and invite to my guild. Bad players get booted after 2 weeks less if they can't behave

Another thing to do if you're leaving a guild is to at least let them know what's going on. Post something in the forums or tell everyone over guild chat. You need to have the mindset "what can I do for my guild?" if you only look at "what can my guild do for me?" you're gonna be leaving/getting kicked from a lot of guilds.

instead of spamming wtb fur squares, or wts your mama (sorry had an immature moment there) ... if only we could spam HTL (how to leave) ... your guild ... followed by instructions ...

or better yet if they cant figure it out ... let them learn. Otherwise we are contributing to the ever growing number of followers. Just takes a bit of time and patience ...
