Thanks for the info yesterday about dyes, etc. Here's another dumb question. How do you use scrolls? I've picked up a few, wasn't able to figure out how to use them and sold them, so how do you. Thanks,

Ok, corrected

Speaking of which, I believe the term is now-a-days.

depends on age, location, and personal preferance but as you must be a master at this I may acquiesce to what you suggest if I get into a better mood.

Scrolls are an item which can be held in the hand and add to your energy score. If you use a two-handed weapon, you will find that the scroll no longer adds to your energy score. Most of the time a scroll in the left hand means that a caster will have a wand in their right hand (to do damage at range and close up, plus any other bonuses it might have).

The scrolls I have found have generally been substandard compared to the other energy-adders; I have sold every single one to a trader, because focus items and 'artefacts' are better.

They all seem to be a waste to a ranger given that I use a bow. Thanks for the input.

Scrolls are a focus (I.E caster off-hand item) for earth eles.
Just like idols for blood necros, or storm artifacts for air eles.

There are also experience scrolls (though I've not seen one yet) which apparently double your XP gain for a while... Not sure how they work...
