Preorder Items

LOL. What is the usual spot? I already registered with a US code. But I read I can enter more than 1 code. Where do I enter the extra code to?

i couldnt find the interview Gaile gave on that but it was confirmed the retail would take multiple keys and each keys item (if different)would be available to any character created on that account

Are you referring to multiple pre-order keys or retail keys? If it's the pre-order keys, does it mean we will have to enter them again after launch?

I was told that there was a rare item that you could get in the beta game, and not in the full game is that true???

possibly you are refering to the unique item that is availablt to people who have preordered the game

dont worry if you dont have it as it will not be powerful enough to unbalance the game

I pre-ordered my game a while back and I don't remember seeing anything about the items then. Maybe I missed it. Wouldn't it be a better option to allow those that did pre-order to choose? I bought mine from EB not knowing that they were vendor specific items.

I guess I'll end up with the Bow and I have no intention of using it as I won't be playing a Ranger and can't take advantage of it.

I'd much rather have a sheild but, meh.... I just want the release so I can play.

The place I ordered it from said I was going to get a Divine Aura... What's that?

Yeah, i'd say, or give out items that all clase can take advantage of.

how about those preorder cd keys in ebay? are they legal? coz one of my friend got his preorder cd key from ebay for 5$. And they say, when you have preordered guildwars you can play it when the game is released. Not needing the retail cd anymore as long as you already have an active account. Is this true?

I found 18-24 unique vampiric hammer 14% enhanced damage when enchanted -1 life regen, 5 life steal +6 armor vs melee... and i played necro character ........
O and on top od that it looked AWESOME like a black spiral spikes at the end...

sure, you get to play the retail game as much as you want between 12:01am on April 27th and 11:59pm April 28th.

there's a bit of a problem with those, I can sign up an account with my preorder code and then sell the code on ebay to someone who can't use it because I've already got an account on it...in other words, I don't suggest buying codes like that.

the item should appear in your inventory after you create your character.

Ok, just thought up another question I had. I saw the pre-order package at Target and bought it for $0.99, but Target didn't actually pre order it for me. So I made my acct with that Pre-Order box but then I ordered the CE from EBGames. Ok so I get 48 hours of "pre-play" with the Target PreOrder box I think, but then can I activate the game with my retail CE from EBgames? And then would I get the Target or EBGames item? Or do I need to make a new acct with the Pre-Order EB will send me, will that still give me access to the Preplay phase even though I didn't get into beta with that key? Hoping I can just use all the stuff from EBgames so nothing gets messed up. (Would prefer the Bow anyways over Targets generic item) Just curious about my character names, will both accts be active for the pre play if I start a new one with the EBGames preorder? So in that case I could log on to the first and delete me names, wait one painful hour, then use the names on my new acct? It's all so confusing lol, I think target messed up by not taking it as a pre-order and just selling it for a buck?.?.

Hmmm I might be wrong when I say this, I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. However, the pre-order you did at Target, I think really is not an actual pre-order. I think it just means that when the game releases on the 28th you can come to the store, and they will have a copy of the game reserved for you.

That's kinda what I thought at first, but nope. When I bought it they didn't reserve anything for me. I think they were just doing it wrong. They don't have my name, number or anything. Saw the same thing at Gamestop when I went to pick up another game and they said the give the pre-order box to anyone that actually reserves (pre-orders) the game. Oh well, guess I can't blame Target for not knowing what the are doing when it comes to games.

if you have a preorder box you are good to go with the keys in it (yours and friends one event pass)

you can enter multiple key codes on the same account for more than one item

the preorder plus the CE key codes

Wow, I get two pre-order items? Great, now I have to find out how to get all the pre-order boxs for more items lol.

they DO know what they're doing. they're providing you with a copy of the preorder box for no reason other than to promote the sale of the game when it comes out. by handing out free pre-order boxes, they get people interested and get their trust so that Target can make more money once the game comes out. you didn't actually preorder the game because they didn't mean you to. the point of the box was only to get you interested. I got a box for the same reason from EB (granted, mine was free) and it got me interested enough to pre-order the game from EB (which made EB games money). Target also makes money off of the boxes themselves since they charge $1 for them.

Hmm, so I got this reply asking about how to register multiple preorder keys. It doesn't sound good to me that 2 weeks before release they don't even know if it can be done, although on their support site they say it's possible.
