Arena.net, perhaps in your PvP testing of the awesome changes you'll implement next week you'll notice that there's a very unintended consequence of the way Attribute Refund Points are handled. If you are in pure PvP mode with a custom made character, you have 24 refund points and once they are gone, it takes forever to get them back (unless you delete your character).
As you know, PvP-only characters can't go to PvE areas to battle off the 6,000 XP requirement to deal with this glitch. That means that every build we create and bring to PvP battle must win 15-20 times just to fully rework our character stats when our skills are switched around.
Thank you for allowing us to freely switch characters, and thank you for allowing us to freely switch the eight skill slots around (outside of battle of course). However once you fix this glitch by allowing all 24 points to be completely refunded back in town (away from battle), we'll be able to make full use of the character and skill switching versatility. After all, what good is the ability to switch those two components around if we have no way of easily applying the Attribute Points needed?
If everyone can do it, no one has any advantage. Keep the 24-point requirement to limit abuse in battle, but please give us the freedom to be able to whip out any one of our favorite builds on a whim with little effort. Thanks again for the great game and your constant attention to our needs.
PvP is getting updated next week! Hopefully this related glitch will be fixed by then

Or, you could just quit crying and take the whole 30 seconds it takes to remake a PvP character, and let the devs focus on more important stuff like bugs and new content.

Resetting all Attribute Refund Points when in town is probably an hour of code typing to accomplish, if that. No time will be taken away from the other updates.

Like I said, remaking a PvP character takes 30 seconds. Sadly, that must be too much work for you.

After the update, there might be consequences for deleting your PvP character all the time. We'll see.

dude just quit crying and remake the ur toon, if its got valuable items then drop them in the storage since its accessible cross acount for all your toons, then delete and remake.

The whole point of PvP-only instachars is you can delete and recreate them on a whim. They don't need attribute refund points at all, they only have them because it would be more trouble to remove them than to leave them in, e.g., it's easier and less error prone to just leave them there, working the same way they work on RP chars. There's no point in putting effort into coding and testing and debugging a system to make them work differently on instachars when in fact they aren't needed at all.

Seriously... he doesnt need any of the items anyways... it's a pvp character, meaning he had to unlock anything he's using on it anyways... not to mention i remake pvp characters all the time, and actually i've gotten quite quick at it... it's kind of funny, while i'm on my pvp character, and a group I'm in needs another character... i simply say i'll switch into my other character, which actually means "I'm making a new pvp character in place of the one i was just on"... it's kind of funny too, cause then i come back with the same name, and a different character, in about 6 minutes tops(have to make sure they're up to par, with being "Elite" and all... haha).

Meh. Guild wars has fixed smaller things than this.. but i higly doubt that will change this because they will have to make pvp charachters somehow different than pve characthers to let skill points fluctuate how you want them. Dont get your hopes up.
