First off, i am still honing my skills in pve, so let me figure out that pvp part myself. I dont want an easy solution, just hints towards the goal. Here's my problem:

I like running around with a lot of enchantments and blessed signet to keep my energy up.
In areas with a lot of enchantment removing enemies I either have to work hard to replace the lost enchants or respec to be of any use to my team.

Any tips you would have, that point me in the right direction to counter this problem would be appreciated.

oh and any accurate information about the relationship between smiting prayers and the ENERGY gain of essence bond/balthazars spirit would also be very much appreciated. i will look it up in the skills section, too.

Balthazars may be linked to smiting prayers, but from what I can tell the energy gain per hit doesnt really increase. Dont know why its even linked at all.

In areas with lots of Enchantment removal, its best to have an alternate plan than to keep futily laying down enchants. Life Bond/Balthazars/Blessed Signet only takes up 3 slots, so you can have divine boon, reversal of fortune, and guardian for dierect healing whenever you enter one of those areas. Let all your enchants die, fall back to a boon/reversal/guradian spam healer. Boon is very easy to recast if it gets dispelled. You wont be the greatest healer in the world, but it works better than trying to recast those heavy enchantments.

I think you might want another Mana Recvery Skill, to supplement Blessed Signet. Having Life Bond on 7 people and Balthazars on yourself means -4 energy regen. Balthazars can keep your energy up during combat. Blessed Signet can almost keep it up in between battles. Adding in enegy drain or offering of blood (since you havent used your elite yet) would mean you could easily keep up your energy, maintain 8 enchantments, and still be able to spam guardian and reversal.

Enchantment heavy prot monks can be nice depending on the sitution. However, based on the stuff you're currently seeing in tombs I would say its not the best way to go atm. The majority of the builds currently running rely mainly on the air gank which goes right through Life Bonds. Even if you are going up verses a melee heavy build, any good guild is likely to bring at least some form of enchantment removal. And A single mesmer with mana drains and panic would make you lose almost all of the enchantments you're currently running.

However if you're going to run Life Bonds I would say take a mesmer sub and go with Mantra of Inscriptions and run it somewhere around 8 or 9 skill. That will make you're signets recharge about 40% faster which adds quite a bit of extra mana with alot of Life Bonds up.

I've found protective bond is very good for an Ele primary with a large mana pool and some form of energy regen like Ether Renewal. Even that it's only good when the mobs you're facing are hitting in the 200s each time.

You should just stick with the Life Bonds and if the bonds get removed just stick with the standard prot stuff like reversal and guradian. Life Barrier is another option to consider if you like keeping up the enchantments as that reduces all types of damage by 50%, you just have to keep high health yourself.
