I've been wanting to make a IW m/w, but after seeing all those lvl20 m/w running and dieing from my lvl 18 n/w, who lacks elite skills, have put some doubt in me. Should I continue making my m/w, or should I just delete him?

Make a non-IW M/W? You can always run IW when you want to - Mesmers are perfectly good without it, and there are valuable things to pull from a warrior anyway.

Just go domination or health degen, no warrior skills. M/W is a subpar IW build.

Edit: for those interested, just got through sending my IW build to someone, might as well post it in this thread.

I use either expertise, illusion and inspiration or beast master, illusion, and inspiration.

My skills are usually something like: arcane echo, illusionary weapon, channeling, throw dirt, dodge, lightning relflexes, leech signet, and res signet.

If I go beast master instead of expertise, I'll drop dodge, lightening reflexes, and throw dirt in favor of tigers fury, symbiosis, and drain enchant.

I actually recommend the second build. Use symbiosis, then use arcane echo before the battle, cast illusionary weapon, start whacking whoever you suspect to be disenchanter, and after they dispel, recast IW and then cast channeling so they can't dispel second one (good to let them waste their disenchant on you and not the monk). Use drain enchant as often as possible, remember, symbiosis gives health benefits to all players based on enchants, so if you have two and they have none, you'll be at a huge advantage.
