Yet another crashing problem (no error)....

Anybody have this problem?

You'll be in the middle of a mission when the screen freezes completely as well as music/sounds. After ten seconds the monitor will go into power safemode (orange light) black screen and then the music/sounds will come back (I can hear my group continuing to fight, but I dont see anything). The only way to recover is to press the sleep button and turn the computer back on, the game recovers.

I have a Radeon 9600XT 256 with ATI 5.6 cats, Athlon XP2600, 1.0GB PC-3200 DDR PC400 ram, XP Pro/SP2..

Any of you guys have the same issue? A crash with no error

You'll find loads of threads in this Forum regarding the same issues. Please go read some of those first as there are lots of solutions and saves us gaming techies having to keep repeating ourselves.

Sorry to be blunt, but we want to game too and we don't get paid to keep repeating ourselves.

I may have solved it.

Temperature was 34 degrees outside today and 26 in the house, I removed my overclock in the bios.
