How is it even remotly possible?

i have been playing gw since it was released i have 15k Platemail armour but i want Fissure armour the thing is the materials are 2 expensive its not even remotly possible for me 2 buy enough obsidian shards buying enough from the trader would set me back 540000 gold i mean seriously WTF then another 500000 for the ectoplasms seriously its beyond a joke, i have tried farming but its just impossible for me to raise that much money arrrrrghhhhh and europe never has favour for me 2 go 2 fissure and get any decent drops seriously what am i 2 do?

no i am not really complaining about favour or anything, and as for not get it? then i would have nothing to work towords in guild wars since i have done everythin i find enjoyable in the game, it just seems to me a ridiculous amount of money thats all

Look it is expensive, truth be told. Which is why you best off buying the materials off players, often selling them in the Temple of Ages... I buy materials at 1K... yes still expensive, but its better then a kick in the teeth.

You don't get everything in this game for nothing.

Money isn't in the game to save for expensive armour, expensive armour is in the game to give you something to do with your money.

Lets face it, in a game that can be beaten in under a month, there has to be something that is genuinely a challenge to achieve.

If it is easy to get, it wouldn't be "special" right? Since all the fissure armors look the same, and there are a godlike number of warriors out there, just image what you will see when you walk into a town.

well i started collecting stuff on the long road 2 the armour but i hear there is a limit on the amount of money u can carry is this true???

limit is 100,000g on person. And yo can store 30,000g in the storage.

Total therefore is 130,000g (130K).

You can invest much of that 130K into the materials you need for the armor.

it is hard to get but it is also not essential. it is more of a luxury.

Storage limit is 1,000,000 and on person limit is 100,000. With four characters in the game you can have 400,000 + your storage... 1,400,000 gold is possible. If europe has such difficulty you are allowed to switch your character to the american server?... right? I think you can move your account 5 times or something.
