They Really need things in the Guild Hall
Forbidden Angel
There should be like, a few new things added to the guild hall. Like there should be a storage there, or a merchant. Honestly, they need a few new things in the guild hall at least. Those are just some of them. It gets tiring teleporting from the guild hall to, LA (Lion's Arch) just to put something in your storage. If you can change your skills in a town, and in the guild hall. Why not have a storage and merchant at the guild hall?

There should be some type of reward system to achieve this though, for example if you have 5 members in your guild you would get player storage, if you have 10 people in your guild then you get merchant and player storage for 15 members you add Guild storage, 20 gets a materials trader maybe and so on up to having one of each basic trader, no rune or skills traders but everything else.
The wears they have to offer would ALL be basic no rare materials no weapon upgrades just customization I think, would be nice

I could see player storage.
Vendors and guild storage could be asking for too much.
Kinda off topic but how about the full set (8) of henchmen ?

Yeap, that idea with the "how many guild members in your guild decides what privilages you get" is not such a bad idea. More members in your guild = better things for you guild hall! =D

good, bad situation!
some guilds want to stay small so they can just have fun with the bunch of friends
meanwhile this might force small guilds to invite new people which would be good except the #of small guilds per the amount of people arent in guilds would pretty much be first come first serve, or LUCK! (I always lose when it comes to luck )
so the big guilds that are just sittin there with almost 0 active members the few active members would get the bonus of people who left!(yup, know I'm gonna go get a brain massage )

Rofl, hmm.. got a point there.... then... how about, if you get a certain amount of "active" members? The active members, gotta be on at least once a day, 5-6 hours? Then it would probalby only count that way. All of the Non-active members wouldn't count. But the people who are seemlessly logging on constantly to be for their guild (me =P) would have something to do with at least... but.. they should just get a storage at least! ^_^

I fully agree, the guildhalls look sweet. Once we buy them we should be able to PvP in them, there should be a non-combative area that is never for fighting in, there should be a merchant, Xunlai, maybe you can pay traders to come to your island for a while... I know it sounds silly, but if you have 100 people in your guild it would be worth it to pay a few plat to have the rune trader and dye trader in your hall for a month.

This has been mentioned in many other posts, so search around before you make a new thread....

ok I have yet to be in a Guild Hall so I am talking "blind" here, but I would think a Treasurer in the form of an NPC or Chest, where players can donate gold, would be a practical idea. And it would be nice if it came with a spread sheet listing all the guild members and the amounts they have donated to date...

Hmm..Ok, how about, buying those storages and such. If you can have a guild hall and all of those such. Its probably worth buying some merchants for the GH.
-Storage = 5k (2k for every additional agent max: 3)
-Outfitter = 6k
-Dye Trader = 6k
-Rune trader = 10k
-Common material trader = 5k
-Rare Material trader = 10k
Maybe that works, other than just getting members. And the people who want to keep it small ^_^

They need to have some function other than just a starting point for GvG battles. I would like to see a guild-only trader who would basically serve a similar purpose as guild-wide storage. This trader would also be a small money-sink....
Everyone has tons of upgrade components and runes they don't plan on using any time, and some of these things may be useful to the guildies. This trader would take these items for free, but then charge a nominal fee for their return, and any person in the guild would be able to retrieve the items as long as they paid. The fee doesn't have to be huge, but I think it would be best if the prices set for the items he holds would not be affected by the outside economy or anything... just a flat fee that is much higher than the merchant's price on specific items (because merchants' fees are pathetically low when dealing with upgrade components and even runes at times). If this is going to serve as a type of money sink, then the base price for any item put into this guild-wide merchant must be high enough to perform this function.

Big Fat Duck
they should have interns in the guild halls so everyone has them to push around and do dirty work

mmmm suggestion a money sink right there your guild leader has to pay to have a merchant... storage....dye trader... materials and all that stuff in your guild hall. that will get some gold out of flow pretty fast

I definately think there should be some expansion to the guild.
As it has been said, some guilds want to remain small, so the notion of being able to pay to achieve some of the benefits makes more sense. Although the price should probably vary based on the number of recruits. A guild with 100 people could easily pay for the extra benefits while a guild of 10 people would have to shell out a lot more cash.
Although guilds would probably exploit this by kicking out members, buy the traders, and reinviting everyone again. In which case depending on the number of traders you have in the guild, there would have to be an entry fee when you first access the guild to avoid this situation.
The Xunlai storage should be automatic (afterall, you already paid to use it). It would be neat if each member of the guild had their own room with... I dunno, another extra cabinet for storage or something. Just so that whenever you login you don't just manifest yourself in a town. Your character has to sleep sometime .

Sure, why don't we just have a hotel or an inn right inside the guild hall ^_^ and.. why not a furnature store.. so we can pick out our "cotten/silk/hay" beds :P
Well, the storage should be free then. Everything else, you gotta pay for. Either that, or someone else has a different opinion.

I like the idea of a notice board where you can put messages to guild mates. Also statues, and other bits you can spend millions on for braging rights.
However having stuff in your guild hall means you should also be able to lose or win it in GvG battles.
One thing which would be nice is to have guild pass cards you could give to non guild members. hese notradable items can be revoked. But it means you can invite friends from other guilds over for a dwarven Ale.

Hmm... so.. what other kind of opinions do we have for more things in the guild hall. We certainly need a storage, and maybe even a little bit more for storage room. Then again, we also need a merchant there who can we can go to, to sell our items too.
Xephania
To be honest i would be happy with a Storage, Merchant and, as a bonus, a guild storage system of some sort.
Forbidden Angel
Then, having a few new things in the guild Hall isn't going to be as bad as it would.
-Storage
-Merchant (outfitter)
-Dye trader
-Guild information for where your guild members are at.
-Some sort of Storage system for the GH
And of course, A STATUE OF YOUR GUILD LEADER'S CHOICE! I've noticed that many of the guild halls don't have a statue. Didn't realize that until now >,< O,o

They need to fix that little cage in Isle od the Dead so I can lock me guildies in it when they're not paying attention
Aaaaagh
I think it would be kinda cool to have mob battles in the guild hall. Start with say 10 mobs on wave one, and increase the number of mobs by 10 with each wave. No experience, no loot, just fun.
