I beat the doppleganger in about that time. N/E, first used fire storm, then (that weaker incederary bonds), then flared him. I was lvl 18.
He beat me 9 times before each killing me in less than 10 seconds. I could get 2 spells cast before i would die. The only reason I beat him that one time is i think he tried to do firestorm twice in a row. I just kept moving and he coudn't hurt me too bad.

I was the luckiest. The fight where I beat him, I actualy died first, but he died litteraly right before it said "return to outpost"
such a relief that was. I was about to just throw my screen out the window.

Mine casted firestorm right off the bat, I casted meteor shower at the same time his firestorm. Meteor knocked her down and I believe 1 or 2 fireballs did it.

I've beaten my mirror a long time ago with my elementalist when I still use fire magic, Today i was bored and I went in with just air magic setup. I still able to beat my mirror less than 20 seconds :P

I'd have to say, dying at the same time when you beat your Doppelganger has to be rare. Yet I managed to pull that off twice as my Elementalist(1st guy) and my Monk(2nd guy) lol >,<
Then as my Warrior(3rd guy), I tore him apart in like 8 seconds (gg Frenzy) >,> Pulling that off was a treat instead of dying with him again lol.

It's funny reading these...
I brought my 3rd char thru that area last night. A warrior/elem.
I pretty much brought fire storm (for him to use) grasping earth, iron mist and a few attunments.
So, the duder casts grasping earth to slow me down (and gave me armor)..then applied iron mist, which made me pretty much invincible (with the skill set) and then he started doing attunments and casts while I just normal attacked him the 15-20 secs or so.
I giggled a bit.
