A completion list window for PvE
Silmor
Right now if you create a PvP character, you can see the long list of possible unlockables (skills on page 2, then upgrades/runes on page 4). I can imagine pure PvE players would quite enjoy seeing this list as well, but will never bother to start a PvP character in order to see what they unlocked. My suggestion therefore is an in-game window that gives a complete listing of what you've unlocked on your account, and what you still need to unlock.
Ofcourse unlocks have no actual purpose for PvE, but if it works for Pokémon, it can work for GW - give people who finished the game and think there's nothing left to do a jarring list of greyed out items to remind them they're not there yet, possibly encouraging them to try out PvP to unlock things faster. This approach seems to do well in a lot of console games, challenging people to get a 'full complete' - perhaps a special emote similar to /rank can be awarded to those people who manage a full unlock to appease those arguing there is no point for a PvE'er to get a complete unlock.
Implementation-wise, I think an unlocks progress window (possibly with percentage indication of sorts) accessible from the ingame menu would work nicely. Ofcourse a full unlock would not just involve all skills and runes, but also maximum upgrades. That should ensure only the most tenacious will succeed in this; those that dislike working to unlock absolutely everything remain entirely free to leave it be.

I nice listing of everything we've unlocked in PvE would rock. Then I could get at least a few pages of notes off my desk.

Better than using dead trees and barely legible writing to keep a record.

Yeah, this would be excelent, and would certainly give me more to aim for. Like you said, worked for pokémon: “Gotta catch ‘em all!”
Another nice thing would be a list of quests/missions. We have a quest list per se, of course, but I mean one which displayed all quests and an indication of whether it was unlocked, in progress, or completed. The only problem with this is plot spoiling, but this could work if you only showed missions unlockable up to the last mission (then all quests for pre-searing).

Uhmm, maybe I'm missing something here, but why can't you just goto the PvP character creation interface and take a look at the list? Another option would be to buy the guide and then draw a line through each skill you've aquired, then atleast your notes are bound into a single book

I like the idea a lot. I also like the idea of all the quests because I love the sense of complete completion...

me too me too me too... with an addition though.
I would also like to see a completion list of all non-class specific quests and also quests specific to your classes. Ones given after your highest mission-city could come as ???? question marks, quests given prior to your current mission-city could come listed by title, giver and location.
This would be very nice for:
1-the purists among us who wish to do everything
2-locating quests after having changed secondary
3-locating new quests streamed in from updates

signs on everything except quest list, as that would spoil the game for new comers.
maybe when you have finished the last mission you would get a complete list of all the quests you can possibly do, where to get them ect. so you can complete every quest, but you only get this list when your char has completed the last mission.

on the quest list note, it's important to remember that I said future quests would show up as only ??? marks. Whereas past quests (taken or not, simply before your position in the storyline) would show up as quest name, giver and location.
