Poison Duration?
salatious
i have started to work on my second toon as a warrior and i have noticed that some axes and swords have a poison duration increase on them but there is no skill that i could locate with warriors that apply any posion attacks.. is this skill there to do nothing more than increase something that a ranger has already applied to the enemy? or is there a skill by warriors to apply poison?

I don't think there is a warrior poison skill, but my husband has a ranger and told me his ranger poison skill applies to all weapons he wields. So, if he uses ranger apply poison on a sword... or you could what you said and wait for another ranger to poison the foe or catch them in a pit. I think Necros have a poison spell too... not sure.

Yah both rangers and necromancers have a poison spell. The rangers is Apply Poision or Poison Arrow, which is an elite. The only necro one I can think of Necrotic Traversal. So just use one of these in combination with the Poison Duration and it will make for a nice combo.

necrotic traversal is a teleport spell, not a poison spell :P
just thought i'd clear that up

Necrotic transversal teleports you to the nearest corpse and poisons all enemies in the area upon arrival.

Traversal wont work because your not using your weapon to poison the enemy.
To the thread starter: If you want to use that sword and poison people you need to take Ranger as your secondary. Apply poison (not poison arrow) is the only skill that will work for that weapon. Poison arrow needs a bow. You will need to be W/R to effectivly use that sword.
