Question about bow types

My ranger currently has a max damage long bow, shadow bow, and half moon. I've seen people carrying a bow that has feathers on it.... IIRC one on either side just above and below the grip..... it sorta looks like a dead bow, but I'm pretty sure it's something else. Anyone know what type of bow this is?

I just did some searching for a picture of a storm bow, and in the process I found this:
This is the bow I'm talking about... is it just a random style for the longbow "type"? -- like my collector Ascalon bow which has that typical, split-arch longbow look to it...?

Doesn't seem to be a trend as to how they drop, my guess is that it's randomly determined at drop.
