<--- IGN I don't understand. I've always thought the 'when health 50% below' refers to your own health. And most of the time, you'd have a monk (or two) in your group to make sure your health doesn't drop too much. With my monk, I always try to keep my group members' healths above 50%.

yes but what happens when you fail, what happens when they get down to 50% health? there is no chance requirement for that percentage to kick in it just does on every hit.
the other thing is that its great to be able to do %15 damage when your healthy. the rality at the higher levels of the game is that the close you have to get to the enemy the greater chance that your gonna spend a good amoint of time being poisioned bleeding dieased drained and a whole host of nasty stuff. having a garanteed extra punch when you need it is very valuable in my opinion.
this last point is also valid. there may come a time when you customize you fav uber weapon, with this weapon you will get +40% damage when you need it, add to that a sundering mod, and a max armor mod and your in business.
