Me/

Fast Casting and Energy Storage.

An E/Me can spam, than re-fill.

A Me/E can spam faster, but not as many and re-fill. Also, with skill and attribute switching, this guy can become an interrupter or energy denier.

So it seems to me that the E/Me is limited in its application, whereas the Me/E can fulfill the same functions, and be more besides.

Or am I totally off the mark? I want to make a "magic" only character, and cannot decide which is better, since I haven't done either before, and feel that if I get too far, and find out that by going Me/E I nerf myself from being able to use E nukes in the first place, I will have wasted a lot of time.

I know the Me/N combo is great, sort of like total battlefield domination and control, maybe I should just do that? If I go Me/N though, what would be a good secondary for the Ele, considering that I don't want it to be a Monk?

I was kinda wondering the same thing about FC and ES. Would a Me/Ele make a better Blasterson than the opposite?

I would go with energy storage. As far as i know an Mezmer has 25 energy (+ what ever wand and off hand item). My Ele/Mo has 109 energy inc wand and flame artifact. Several of the high damage ele spells require 25 energy if you a Mezmer you will be lucky if you can cast 2, where as an Ele can cast at least 3 or even 4 if he has a good wand and artifact.

Mesmers have 30 Energy.

Remember, with Fast Casting, Energy Tap and Energy Drain cast very quickly.

Tells you the time taken of the original time based on the rank. As for energy storage you don't really need to look at anything. Personaly I'd rather be e/me.
