Hey, I have a few questions about a build I have created and tested.
Poison Arrow - W
Conjure Phantasm - I
Distracting Shot - E
Pin Down - E
Whirling Defense - E
Throw Dirt - E
Troll Unguent - W
Resurrect Signet - n/a
12 + 2 Expertise
8 + 1 Marksmanship
8 + 1 Wilderness Survival
7 Illusion Magic
This is the build I'm currently testing. It is a DoT Disrupter Ranger/Mesmer combing Poison Arrow with Conjure for 9 pips of degen. Distracting shot is to distract annoying skills, like Troll Unguent, which could cancel out the 9 pips degen. Pin down is to cripple warriors chasing allied monks. Whirling is for self defense, and Throw Dirt is for either self or assisting defense. Troll Unguent and Rez Sig for additional support.
This build is suppose to be a support damager, which is why it has no Marksmanship skills. What I want to put in Penetrating Shot or Hunter's Shot in, but I'm not sure if its worth taking a skill out (which would be Whirling). Since this is a DoTer, would having a Marksmaniship tier skill benefit me, or would attacking normally be better, saving energy in the process?
I have tried this build for about 4 hours in PVP now. The most consecutive wins I had was 12, and the next best was 5. I win more than I lose, and I know this build works, but I want to perfect it. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Elben
