Strength and Bows

I'm contemplating a bow-using W/R so that he can use Strength and Superior Absorption. I'm not sure, however, if Strength will modify my bow attacks, because if not then I'm definitely going R/W. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the ingame description of strength says that it only affects melee attacks.

When you use attack skills, each point of Strength gives you 1% armor penetration. Many skills...straight from the game.

In short, yes it will work with bows.

It doesn't work with bows, I'm afraid. Much like expertise, the in-game description is less than entirely accurate...
