for that run i'd have to respec my warrior or run with 2 people. i've only made that one once without fighting, and it wasn't fun at all. too many arcanists with slowdown and DoT.
so in other words, it'd be expensive and unreliable if u wanted me to do it.

sorry but there are no acranists from mines to copperhammer. thier are ice imps and other thing but no arcanists
not a real easy run but definately can be done

Well, that's me. I'm not a millionaire, but I must say I'm quite happy with my character. Never farmed in my life, and I've only had this game for 6 days. I met quite a few very nice people and used my trading skills from Diablo II along the way

ok now, you have alttitle over 200k exp, I mean how can you possible get that mutch cash whit so little exp ?
I mean you kill mobs for items and cash, I have about 300k, andi have like 500k exp soon. so i dont get it how you can have 1 million in cash and only alittle over 200k exp. sounds alittle strange to me.

yeah he's a forge runner, which is what i want to be when i ascend
forge runners make about 4k to 10k per person per run, unless they're nice and do it for free or they get ripped off :P but obviously you can make alot of money if you're charging 10k per person for 5 ppl on a 20-30 minute run (thats 100k per hour)

From the attribe point spread I guess you still cant fight your way through Droknars, but run instead.

you idiot the point is that he runs people through so lower level characters can get there. and if you think that YOU have the skill to run through from beacon's perch to droknar's forge, just try it.

I've seen posts about you in helping newer characters get to Draknor's Forge the short way. I guess that is fairly lucrative from the looks of it . I'm all for you being able to provide such a valuable service to people and also for you getting compensated for it. Congrats, I may look you up in the future if money is still worth anything to you then.

wow.. everytime when i got golds around 600, i end up using it for weapons and armors. By the time I'm done spending, i have only 100 gold left. Right now, I only got 215 gold.. can you spare me some

All this thread shows is that the poster likes to boast and show off about his pile of cash (the thread title...) to people online, lol, yet amittadly sprints his way through high level areas avoiding the gameplay of the game, to get more cash..
Its plain to see he enjoys boasting about his cash, and trying to show off to others, more than he likes to actually PLAY Guild Wars, and its clear to see by his boasting/show off type post that if he had the ability to take on the monsters he would do so, to show all his little noob followers how uber he is. But he doesnt do that, so I assume he cant, otherwise there would be screenies and posts about it.
So congradulations on not actually achieving anything, but coming online to GW forums to boast that your uber rich because you rush through areas for cash just turns my stomach tbh.
Also have a look at his attribute refunds, its obvious he hasnt changed his build in a while, i think we can safely assume he doesnt do anything else with this character than run through Droknars for cash.
Must be satisfying to be one of the highest earners in GW, when the game is about combat...
Anyway I dont know why im arguing, i think ill leave the 'omg running droknars is teh sh1t' group alone and go back to actually playing.

Wow, I never thought such a simple thread could generate so much negativity. So hes rich, maybe the way that he got is was questionable, but instead of just shooting him down, either just stay away or actually add something to the discussion. I myself only have 30k, but I've only played through the game and not really done any strict farming or other quick money tasks.

I have 1 character that has finished the game, the rest are level 13's and I have about 30plat between them. I always felt I play too much. It is hard for me to conceive how any adult with a family and responsibilities can have the kind of money the OP is talking about, let alone some of the other posters have,without serious priority issues. If they can, great for them...just ... Wow.

To the naysayers, the only reason you are probably whinning about how he got his money and how he rushes a certain area of the game is because you have a character that cant and/or your poor and jealous. I've beat the game 3 times and now i rush people on certain missions, i've done them before the "right" way and most of the time so have they, they're just trying to get thru a tough mission, for example Elona Reach.
Me? I'm a millionaire too. Three characters with 15k armor, all dyed darkblue, sup vigor on all, sup fire, air, absorb, prot, smite, etc. Not to mention the weapons i have. How'd i get it? I'm in the farming/collectors item business. I farm for minotaur horns, jawbones, carapaces, etc, then i sell them and the items i get from farming them.
Whoever is making comments about the exp and fame needs to wake up and realize that it not eveyone likes PvP, especially me. Instead i spend my time in the UW/FoW and desert doing PvE. And about his armor.. It works doesnt it? Why waste money on 100k worth of armor and another 200k on weapons when you can get the items you NEED for cheap. Collector Crimson Carapace Shield = arguably the best shield in the game (correct me if i'm wrong but thats what you have right?). The gladiators armor may not look cool but its essential for hardcore runners since you need a lot of manna to chain cast spring & charge, and several other buff skills.
