Can you get hafts and such out of weapons, like if a shield has +28 health on it can you get it off it?

Nah, you can only get mods off of weapons. Sheilds and focuses (wands too) don't give any.

You can only get a weapon mod off of a weapon. Like a Poisoners long bow of fortitude. If you use am expert kit you will get either a Poisoners string, a bow grip of fortitude, or if your really unlucky just crafting material.

What's the percentage of getting a mod/or crafting material when salvaging?
