Bombers
Firestreak
Anyone here every play a game called NOX? Well one of the things that they had were these cool little monsters called bombers. You would put up to 2 of your skills into them and then use magic to summon them. They would attack the enemy nearest them, thus committing suicide and using the spells on them. Do you think such a thing would be a good addition to the game or a bad one?

With the GW skill system, this sounds like a very unique idea.
How exactly did these work? Is there a Mana [energy] limit?

It worked like this. You used roughly half your energy I think (bear in mind tho in that game Energy recharged very slowly without the help of a mana potion) to summon two bombers. You then had an onscreen option of having them attack a selected target or just dispelling, allowing you to remake a new set of bombers. You could only have 2 at a time.
So perhaps what you could have is a 20 energy spell that created two bomber monsters that held two of your professions spells. Then as long as they were alive, you have energy degen of 1. They can be killed and when they are they will release the effects wherever they are. However if you select a target and call it, they could go for it and release whatever you put inside them.
