end Game hack? Fissure of Woe a Myth?
SellerDeSeller
Ok end game i was transported to Dakon's Forge... How do i get to fissure of woe and where is temple of ages? it that a myth?
Silmor
If you did all your quests, you would've visited the Temple of Ages. Finishing all the missions doesn't mean you saw everything in the game, not by a long shot.
Shadowsting
It is not a myth...........It's in Kryta, travel west from Bergen Hot springs to........some area.........then to the Black Curtain, the NW to the Temple. Go to Fissure of Woe by giving the Champion of Balthazar one plat.
The Pope
Don't listen to these people - they're all illuminati! The fissure of woe is one of the biggest hoaxes in videogame history, and a critical part of the illuminatis plot to steal area 51. Seriously, just think about how much effort faking all those screenshots and organising so many people to give the same story would take. Then hacking Anets servers to put in the fissure of woe armor so that they can wear it around town to propagate the myth. It has to be the illuminati.
Sereng Amaranth
There is no fissure. You've been had.

:O Hax!

someone post an atlas of where the fissure is located so maybe i can find it... where do i start and what part of the map is it on?
SellerDeSeller
How do i find this hot springs?
FelineFury
On this very web site there's a really nice map you could check.
Paladin_Adoni
goto lions arch, and look for a group heading to the temple of ages.
or a group doing the villiany of Galrath (ask them if they can stop in the temple of ages for you along the way)
if you dont know the way, find someone going there in the game

In Fisherman's Haven, there's a quest to find the Princess which will take you the best route to Temple ot the Ages.
There, when America has favor in the Hall of Heroes, you'll find gates to the Underworld, Fissure and a whole lot of grief
But if you just got to Droknar's, you certainly aren't at the end of the game...

go from fishermans haven and head north you'll find it then. thats actually the quickest route for most lev 20s.
as to underworld and Firrue... you need Favor of the gods first(it tells you if you have it when you enter the area) then go to the gods statues and bow at the monuments... they apear... go talk to them and they will send you to those places, currently it costs 1platnum per party to go there... and there is no respawn, its just like a mission. you go untill you all die, then you go back to temple.
I always thought you should stay dead down there till someone rescues you, but that was too hard to code for I guess... It was an interesting Idea though. lol after all you died in the underworld, so you should be stuck there as a ghost right? lol no no no off topic. lol forget I said it...

This is right.....TOtA is much easier accessed from Beetletun. Much lower level MOBs too. (Than from Fisherman's)

Temple of Ages, is easy to miss for players that get caught up in the missions. They just go with the flow thinking the game is linear. This isnt SuperMario Bros. You don't just run in one direction across the screen, and hop over things. It is a huge world that is meant to be explored. 900g to be taken to temple is awfully spendy to, and you joined his guild? You can easily run there with henchies.
*spoiler*
Temple of Ages looks nothing like Ascalon.

Easiest route for me has been from Bergen Hot springs -> Cursed Lands --> Black Curtain [ you literally go directly northwest]. Once you enter Black Curtain you can easily make a run for it, worst case if you die you pop up at the shrine outside the temple :P
I've done this with both my lvl 18 characters that haven't even been off the mainland.
Although i can't actually recall ever seeing a "temple" per-se. It is just a bunch of shrines placed in a circle....

For monks I'd say it's easier to go from Hot Springs, though, as they can heal the henches + get double damage against undead.
Beetletun sounds like a detour either way, though.

Should probably keep in mind, that if the poster hasnt been to ToA. They probably havent been to Beetletun or Fishermans Haven. They both are kind of out of the way places, at least as much out of the way as ToA.
Once you get to ToA, you will have to learn to respect Underworld and Fissure of Woe. I recommend for this you take all henchies with you as it will make the process faster, because people usually take a long time to party with here. Once you have your hench team go to the statue of Grenth, /kneel and a ghost will pop out (If America has the favor of the gods). It will cost you 1Plat to go to UW, but it will be worth the lesson learned. Once you go to UW you will see a ghost that has a quest for you (Green Exclamation point) go talk to him and accept the quest. Then enjoy the many wonders held within the UW.

For many people Temple and Fisherman's are off the beaten path. The only quest I know of that takes you to Temple is from fisherman's, though Villany takes you through the same zone, but would be easy to miss the temple doing it as you don't go past it. And I don't know of any quests offhand that take you directly to Fisherman's which would mean it too could be missed if you didn't explore North from Sanctum Cay. I have made it to both of them, but never bothered till I was level 20.
Auntie I
I recommend doing Villany leaving from The Temple of the Ages. The party size from TOA is 8 and the 2 extra people can be important.
gwden
Fissure exists, it's just a big yawner. Zzzzz
Hookecho
But when you get there....make sure you talk to the ghost right away....and make sure you have all 7 henchies with you...they really help
