Arena Locations

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I'm just trying to get into PvP, and the only arenas I can find are Tombs and the sub-15 one in Yaks. What happened to the others on my map? Or can only PvP characters get there?

Did you have any others on your map in the first place? If not, PM me and I'll gladly discolse the whereabouts of the Arenas. If so... that's really weird.

Sorry, I was unclear - I meant the map that is published on this forum and others...for example, why can my ascended lvl 20 / PvE / finished game char not find an arena at Lion's Arch or Oasis?

Hmmm, that's strange. Do you know where to look for the Arena Guards?
You must talk to them first before entering the arena of your choice.

Apparently not...

In lions arch go to the docks... near where you go for the guild islands... you can get to the arena there... in Yaks bend you prob found that one at the top of the hill... and in ascalon the guard opposite the Town exit is where to find it.

The team arenas are someplace in south shiver peeks near camp rankor I believe. I have not found it with my PvE character yet... but I go to it all the time with my PvP...

The arena in Lions arch is now random of all the other ones except yaks bend, ascalon, and team arena... so as such the portals in Henge, oasis and forge, don't do direct access any longer. just go to competition arenas from lions arch and you get em all...

These so far:

* Tomb of the Primeval Kings ( North of Dragon's Lair )
* Ascalon Arena ( Ascalon City, Arena Guard )
* Shiverpeak Arena ( Yak's Bend, Arena Guard )
* Competition Arenas ( Lion's Arch, Arena Guard )
* Team Arena ( Droknar's Forge, Arena Guard )
* Guild Hall ( Requires a sigill )

I have them all save for the ones for Henge of Denravi, Amnoon Oasis and Ember Light Camp. I can't see the arena guards but I can see the entrances.

I wonder what is needed to unlock to get access???

All three of those arenas were combined into the Competition Arena in Lion's Arch. When you battle at that arena, you randomly go to one of 4-5 different arenas.

Yep, thats the key. The old locations are shut off...you have to go to the docks at Lion's Arch. Then you end up on an island called Competition Arena, and when you actually fight you get tossed to any of the old locations, randomly.

You can still see the old portals at places like Oasis, but cannot get in directly.

heh, I know its an old post, but I'd still like to see old places like this as explorable in PvE as some are connected to PvE towns.

if only for the eyecandy :-)
