I was thinking, how about being able to summon creatures without having to alredy killed somthing, how about turning a hammer into a iron or wooden golem, depending on what that wepon would have wielded as a salvage item. Also, have that monster have the stats of that hammer + whatever skill advantage it gets from higher atributes in that area.

Somebodies been playing a little too much D2 eh? Here's the deal, minions are powerful because in groups you can't always take them all out and they can be sacrificed for enormous amounts of healing. Necro's can simply run around buying off spare junk for 10g and suddenly have a army of monsters in HOH or such, each allowing him to be healed instantly for 300 hp. Just think exactly how incredibly stupid that would be and unbalanced, so basically, it's not happening. Necromancers are worshipers of darkness and controllers of the dead, not a Golem mechanic.

There was a suggestion for Golems as a more permanent Necro companion [as compared to summons]. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but I plan to post a detailed suggestion sometime in the future.

Golem pets might still make it unbalanced...I mean you could still taste of death the pet and it should be strong enough for it not to matter much, and if it would kill it, then golems pets would suck and no one would use them (following the trend of pets sucking).
