Rumors???

I have heard rumors that guild wars are going to release a whole new map in the next year and also that in about two more months that guild wars are going to release some new items and some new armor. Any info or thoughts on this??

Guild Wars is streaming content all the time, nothing too major yet, however they are adding in new high level areas sometime soon (this summer probably). Also they will release expansion packs (new Chapters) to the storyline which could also include new classes, skills, etc. I'd say we won't see something like that until the end of the year or so.

I have heard that they released a high level area with some sorts of dwarves super strong.

They havent realsed this yet, but they are plaaing to do this in the future, if the info on the site is right.

There are 2 areas that I heard are coming out. I cant wait for them. I hope they come out in july.

Don't forget the soon to be popular spectator mode for the tournaments this summer. that arena layout is really looking like its going to be fun to watch and play in. like a stadium football game. except with magic and swords and stuff. lol

Oh and the Sorrows Furnace mission should be out Very soon...

Chapter two release (the next pay for upgrade ) will not be till at least christmas, but it is more likly going to be 1st qtr 2006... then follow up chapters continuing every 6 to 8 months or so after that...

I have heard that they are charging only for the mapable areas in the upcoming expansion, and the other content will be steamed to everyone. It is said that they feel folks will pay for the map, and I think they are right.

Hell yeah, I'd pay $20-30 for a map as big as the last one!
I just hope that it's not all extremely high level areas...

according to ALEX WEEKES the 2nd chapter is in the first half of 06

you will pay for CONTENT but not for engine upgrades

it will have about the same total content as the present game and be priced accordingly meaning you will not get a full game expansion at the 20-30 dollar pricemark.

also it will ALL be level 20 content

question about expansion i have heard a new charector class is coming soon

in the next chapter (first half 06) there is talk (from Anet) of other races as well as professions
