Second Profession

I was wondering if you roll a warrior and then choose ranger... would it be any different from rolling a ranger and then choosing a warrior? Thanks and sorry if this was already asked, couldn't find anything on search.

Oh, and I would like an opinion... I am about to get this game and I am very torn between warrior/ranger and ranger/warrior. Opinions/Advantages of both? Thanks again.

Your primary profession determines several things of importance (besides your skills):

- What armor you can wear. Warrior AC is slightly better than Ranger (only slightly) and usually gets a bonus against physical damage. Ranger armor generally has a bonus vs elemental damage, which is pretty nice.
- What runes you can equip - you can only equip runes from your primary class, not your secondary or any other.
- Your energy regeneration. Warriors receive 2 pips of regen, Rangers, 3 pips.

Personally, I dont see the point in using a ranger/warrior. I guess you could use tactics, but warrior armor for melee is alot better then ranger with a melee weapon
