As most of us know Althea's Ghost for the "Duke's daughter" quest spawns in random location in the Diessa Lowlands. Look where she ended up today for me!
Ofcourse this made a nice change after an hour of low-level-devour killing to get my skillquest done....

this is where she spawned almost every time I've done it (twice on my chars, plus helping others)... I only remember twice that it wasnt' there, and one was ridiculously close to the courthouse.

LOL, that's unlucky.
The last time i did that quest, she spawned near lots of resurrect gargoyles and devourers, just before you make the turn North to Grendich where the terrain turns orange.
Nice to have quests with some randomness (is that a word? lol) in it.

As for the topic at hand, she once spawned there for me too (out of three times I've attempted this quest). The other two times, though, she spawned a little further back near some gargoyles, so I guess I got lucky.

what a bummer, she has spawn really close to the courthouse for me to, twice. i guess we'll see what happens the third time.

The first time I did the quest, she spawned way outside the realm of newbie danger.

She usually spawns in the middle of the big group of Stone elementals for me. I guess she has three spawn locations. That area was actually where I first completed the Ashes quest, I'm assuming they added that temple by Dragon's gullet afterwards, or just populated it because the other area was too easy with 3 bosses and about 50 charr that are all pretty much linked and interspersed.

I have done this quest multiple times. Although I have feared her appearing there, it has never happened.
I usually find her just behind the first platform. It's in a nice position where you can avoid the aggro of the main group. I personally hate it most when she is among the Stone Elementals. Blind really screws us Warriors over...
However, I was pleasantly suprised to find her right in our path when a partner and I were running from Nolani to Grenditch.

i got real lucky. she actually spawned in the spot you're standing in on my first attempt to do that mission.

Ahh, I didn't know she moved around! I always had her in that same spot as the screencap!

mine was spawn in middle full of gargoyles... just before that, groups of charrs. the location was near the academy... i had to sacrifice myself to get the quest done.. just too many to fight and henches got pwnt already. good job sprint! lol.

The very first time I did that mission, she was there, so me and a buddy tried to kill all those charr, and got royally ganked.
It was to much relief later that I learned she just spawns all over the place, and sometimes she spawns really close to the Breach.
Later with my W/Mo, I solo'd those b*st*rd Charr just as vengeance for them ganking me with my first character.
If she spawns there, you're probably better off just abandoning and reacquiring the quest, it should redetermine the spawnpoint then

Yesh this is where she spawned for me on my last char. Only level 8, but made it to her with little problem. She spawned in the middle of the stone elementals for my other 3 chars. which was a bit easier, but by the time I got to her this last time I leveled quite nicely.
