In my storage I have a few pints of Dwarven Ale which I sell in Ascalon for 300g a pint. I don't scam, anyone who buys some knows that it's 200g in Droknar's Forge, but they're paying for an import

But I also noticed the other day that I have 9 pints of Hunter's Ale. Now, Hunter's Ale is exactly the same as Dwarven Ale except for the name... this should not be so.

The suggestion:

For each pint of Hunter's Ale you drink, along with the regular effects, you get a +2 to damage, +10 to life and a +5 to energy, and your aggro radius grows slightly. Perhaps the visual distortions normally associated with Ale could be in a kind of reddish tint so that you can also clearly SEE the difference. When the effects wear off maybe like 4 or 5 minutes later, you receive a -5 energy exhaustion and -10 life exhaustion for every Hunter's Ale you drank. (maximum exhaustion for life = -75%)

The rationalization:

1-this ale can NOT be found anywhere else in Tyria. Only those who brought it with them from before the searing have it. It's more than rare, it is NOT available to characters past the searing. Because it's so rare, it should have some sort of extra meaning. Otherwise, why keep it? Just throw it away like the tattered shred of cloth.

2-it is HUNTERS ale. Hunter's drink this, people who's livelihood is killing large animals. Bears no less... Now, I know that to a lvl 20 ascended with fissure armor yadayadayada bears are no problem, but the heros of this game are not normal people, the heros are chosen by gods. For a normal person to go out and kill a bear, this is pretty damn cool. And these guys do it stumbling drunk! How? Because it's Hunter's Ale, it gives them more strength (+dmg) more stamina (+nrg/life) and pumps them up and gets them rippin to fight (+aggro radius)... they kill the bear quickly then lay down for 5 hours hung over
