What is the best Monk build???
funnybunny008
I know it's all on preferences, but I'm still not familiar with other classes. I just want to be a Monk that mainly heals and protects. Is there a secondary class that I can/should pick to give me more energy mana? And what's types of weapons should I use? Thanks much people.

Well, you could go Mo/N for Well of Blood and Offering of Blood. Plus, Animate Bone Horror is an extremely helpful spell earlier in the game, when you won't need to heal as much. Mo/Me have several energy management spells as well.
It doesn't matter what type of weapon you use. If you find a good wand and a good focus, then use them. If you find a good staff, then use it.

I use a Mo/Me and it works very, very well if you plan to be a dedicated healer. My attribute points are in Divine Prayers, Healing, and Inspiration. Inspiration spells like Channelling and Energy Tap are invaluable to help you in those situations where others who to run ahead and aggro mobs while you're saying "My energy is 2 of 41."
There's also a great Inspiration magic spell as a /Me secondary called Physical Resistance which gives you a temporary physical damage resistance boost while decreasing elemental reistance. It's great for those situations where your not-so-smart group members let the big dogs by to pound the crap out of the healer. Also, make sure to pick up Divine Boon on the Wayward Monk quest from Yak's bend once you get there - that one is invaluable when used right.
Enjoy the healing and thanks for becoming the class that everyone wants in their group but loves to hate when they die!
