He may be able to update the drivers for XP compatability. One other point. If he ran scandisc, is the system still 32 bit or has it been converted to NTFS (which I doubt). |

It used to be my computer and I ran alot on it, with integrated sound. And the sound card is the most suspicous, because I tried Nvida 61 and 71 drivers. So I doubt its the card. The C drive is very fragmented. |

And toke, ive heard bad things about NTFS, most pcs stick with FAT32. And i cannot afford to format unless the problem spreads out to more then Guild Wars. |

Under "local settings" is a massive temp folder. You can delete everything except the cookies and temp internet files folders, and Zone alarm temp files if you are using it. The programs you see listed with folders will recreate those folders when you restart them. |

Couldn't find the driver anywhere, looked under another name at those forums that used to be free and found the driver, that solved the problem. Anyway, let's see where what you're doing goes, maybe that'll take care of it right there. *Edit* I am sure you are aware there is a compatibility issue with the gforce 5200 serious right?
