Guild Wars Over Simplified

Im highly dissapointed to see how Simple this game actually is.

You barely have armors, weapons, bonusses to armors.

You have creatures that look exactly the same but just have a different name. Same goes for weapons, and armors. ( ye in Diablo 1 we had that, its 2005 now open your eyes)

Rare items? barely enough stats on them to call THAT rare.
Purple same deal.

Even craft items look the same but just have a different name.

Music? what music? (and sure as hell im NOT going to pay for a extension of that, imo blackmailing ppl who would want to have a simple battlemusic)

To few of the Guild Emblems. Guild Halls, HAH what a joke.

Once youve done the game....OMFG YE i can do ALL that boring stuff again. (Since once youve done the quests it HAS become boring)

Want a great looking armor? HAH get 1 million gold since the items to create that ****ing thing costs a shitload.

And tbh i feel blackmailed, if i knew there was such LITTLE viarity in Items, Quests etc. i would NOT have bought this game.

This is the 1st MMORPG that ive gotten bored of within a month, simply said cuz youve played it all the way already. (in that month i have ALL chars at lvl 20 unlocked most of all the skills)

This really is so bloody sad, since this game has ALL the potential to become the best game ever.

Well, if you are done with the game then move on to something else. If you receive word that it has improved then maybe come back to it.

If you want to stick with it, then I would recommend doing GvG or something similar. By the sounds of things you're a decent player, so this would be a great test of your skills.

Can't really force you into enjoying the game I suppose... You either will or you won't.

Wrong forum for this type of thread. Sorry that you aren’t satisfied but we aren't here in this forum to read about others experiences in this nature but rather to help others to play the game.

Yes there is alot you havent noticed.

Come back when the first expansion gets released. To tell you the truth, there isn't that much content for PvE players, compared to games like WoW. Still, I find that the content that is there, is far more complex than WoW's content, mostly because of the variety of skills.

I HAVE actually, since your a GW Guru doesnt mean EVERYONE has to be.

Owh and btw, true the expansion would be able to evolve this game even further however, just adding new map areas, items, skills etc i dont call a expansion.

I hope they dont make the same mistake twice; in other words, making the expansion over simplified aswell.

GW is not a mmorpg & PvE isnt that great.
Its about pvp between guilds which you didnt mention at all & I cant find anything worthwhile to discuss in your opening post that has not been already mentioned in other threads.

Then instead of bothering me, go to threads that are interesting in your opinion.

If i want to talk about this issue, then i will ,wether you like it or not.

There might be alot you havent done yet. Have you completely conqured the underworld or fissure of woe. Have you found every outpost and every elite skill. Theres more to it then just doing the quest.

I dont find the game boring at all,i just started another character as m/e instead of w/m and find it just as fun,there will always be a game you wont like where others love.

Indeed, what Jelloblimp is referring to is that GW shouldn't be viewed as an MMORPG but as a CORPG (A term A.Net coined up). The most similar game to this is Diablo 2, rather than World of Warcraft, Everquest or Ultima Online...

Also, even though I haven't really experienced GvG battles yet (have yet to get more guild members), PvP is quite fun as long as you don't party with idiots.

Although after having said that, games, like music and movies, don't cater for everyone's tastes - so if you really dislike it, there's nothing much anyone can do for you.

I put in 10 to 12 hours a day every day and i'm not bored i farm a bit though thats a lost cause. I gw and am rank 1 at HoH.Though i will say that the PvE has been dumbed down to where a two year old can play.

Yet another person who feels it's his right to "blurt" all his random hate and anger about the game into one long rant, rather than do the intelligent thing and either a.) quit the game quietly or b.) post constructive ideas in Sardelac Sanitarium to improve gameplay (Anet do read this forum, you know).
