Does this work?

Can you capture 2 skills? Whilst having spent only 1 skill point for the original SoC? There are limitations to utilizing this, as you will need 2 skills that you want captured during the echo duration. But still, a possibly free skill.

Will test this out when I get home.

Even if it is possible, the second Signet (or whatever spell you used to capture with it) would revert back to Echo after 20 seconds.

After a quick test capturing a skill, Echo will *not* change into a signet of capture, so it won't work. Just as a side note though, you can use Echo to copy the Resurrection Signet, and Echo will still recharge if you use it that way.

Right, but what is of importance is the possibility of capturing and unlocking two skills whilst having spent only 1 skill point for the original SoC. Three skills even, if you arcane echo>echo>SoC.

Need to test this.

Maybe I wasn't clear. I casted Echo, followed by Signet of Capture, and captured a skill. Echo just stayed as an enchant (as it does) waiting for a skill to be used. So you can not use Echo to mimic a SoC.

Hope that clears everything up for you.

I would consider that an exploit if that worked. SoC is supposed to cost 1 skill point and some gold. Echo'ing it, if it worked, would mean you'd only need to buy 1/2 or 1/3 of the regular amount of SoC you would normally need. Big time exploit if you ask me, so I'm glad it doesn't work.
