I am having a problem with taking screenshots. Whenever I take it, it only takes the character and surroundings, it doesn't actually take the skill bar/party bar etc etc..

this only started happening maybe 2 weeks ago, before than my screenshots were fine. Now its just very frustrating

Check your keymap options in-game.
There's two methods of taking a screenshot: -
One is simply the print screen button, this takes a screenshot of everything on-screen and dumps it into gw****.bmp in the screenshots folder.
The other is shift and print screen, this takes a screenshot of everything on-screen except the user interface.
It looks to me as if the key assignments may have gotten switched or something.
