Is it a bot?

Not that I know what a bot is, but I keep playing with people who's characters keep saying things like "I am attaking the axe crawl" or "I am level 10 and 40% to the next level."

Is that a program these people downloaded to do that? Is that what a bot is?

if you hold ctrl and click on any of your meters...double click a players name in the player list...or select a skill/double click an enemy...you will Call out your action alerting to the rest of your party what you are doing.

Just try holding down CTRL and clicking/double clicking meters/bars/skills/foes/party members...you'll see

No, that's an ingame feature to communicate to your team. You can do it too by holding down ctrl and then clicking on your screen or hitting a key on your keyboard.

If someone does the "I'm attacking [monster]", you can hit 'T' to select the same monster and then attack it too.

Also VERY VERY important to notice when a spellcaster "calls" their energy level. "My energy is 2 of 40," when coming from your only monk, is not the time to start the next battle!

And when the group leader calls their energy, it's a shorthand question "Is everybody's energy level ok?"

I wish I could find PUGs that knew what they were doing....its sad that as you get farther into the game (it appears to be starting in Druids Overlook)fewer and fewer people understand the game ISN'T about level. I'm drawing stop lines on the map and nobody stops...I'm calling trap and pulls and nobody has any idea what I'm talking about.....I'm calling for energy requests and nobody replies...I'm calling targets and people are telling me to "stfu noob that shit is annoying"....it's sad how many people are awful at this game.

I did find a group last night that knew what they're doing. Although they don't use that ctrl thing often, but they didnt aggro, and did the pull fairly well. I was the sole warrior along with the fighter henchie, but none of the players die very often (of course we were in the crystal desert so sometimes deaths are inevitable).

I do agree that there are still many noobs at this stage of the game..

That brings to mind an incident over the weekend that started with a complaint about targetting while in a PUG with a guildmate of mine vs. these two guys in another guild while trying to do bonus on Aurora Glade.

I'll spare the details about this very ugly business as they were man enough to apologize, but bottom line is I don't think they understood exactly what the purpose of targetting is. I sincerely hope they understand now, or at least realize that it's going to be an important part of the game when teamwork is much more important.
