GIve us ranks....
Death knight dunn
Each guild should be able to rank their strongest warriors. Such as Generals ect. To show who has authorites in guilds. An have the rank witten some were in their name so other pvp guilds can see who is a general, private, ect.
Drakron
Why?
You think that anyone is going to target a "general" if there he is not a monk and a "private" is?
Ranks are useless.
And autority in the Guilds is from the guild leader that can create officers to help him/her in guild affairs, its not a democracy were you can vote for your leaders.

I just think it would be a neat thing, nothing special but neat to have. Thanks for being a bubble burster.

One thing though. Maybe these ranks should be given by going up levels - nothing to do with guilds.

Nothing sould alter how guilds work in terms of autority.
As for ranks ... lets not force then into people, I have no desire to see my character being "drafted" into the military because it leveled up.

There's really no point in this, because there are way too many guilds out there. There are many guild that has only 1 or 2 people in the guild. So in a sense everyone would just be a commander/general. Or someone could just create a guild just to be come a high rank. Serves no purpose.

i think ranks would be good, leader officer and members is pretty turd

The only thing I'd change about how guilds work is the possibility of having two leaders, but that's it.
In previous clan experience, a rank structure causes members to compete against each other for the attention of their highers and is only the seed which causes arguments and many people leaving the guild/clan.
