I have to agree on all points, except the lag issue, too. And I have played for more than 400 hours since release, so, no matter what I'd say, I enjoyed the game so far and I still do so
at #1:
Yes, some areas can be really boring with just about two types of critters. Also you regularly encounter the same type of enemies, again, just somehow stronger ( for example devourers ).
In my opinion one of the best maps is Lornars Pass. Mainly because of the different monsters ( you encounter ice imps, pinesouls, ice wurms, avicaras, stone summits, grawls,... ).
#2: Except for the day of release, I never had any real lag. If I dropped out or it got laggy, it always was my own internetconnection.
#4: A little bit more control would be nice, but I guess, henchmen are supposed to be a bit dumb. It's a multiplayergame and this way you get encouraged to play with other players
But I have to agree, that the Henchman AI should get fixed a bit. It's a bit annoying to see Alesia planshing with raising fun in poisoned water or Stefan camping in lava
#5: That would be great, I'd love to make my partywindow more transparent for example.
Got to add some points:
#6: Maybe for the expansions: open areas. Until now, most of the maps are limitting the movement. Most of the time you are forced to move a defined path. Some more open areas, with woods or something, would definately not hurt. Maybe paths like now, with a few enemies, but the farther you leave the defined path, the more and stronger enemies you'll encounter.
#7: Tooltips. An option to turn off popupinformation like "megahyperattack, hit all adjacent enemies for +23 damage with a spinning attack" while fighting. If you know your skills etc, it's just blocking your view, esspecially on lower resolutions.
Please excuse me for having brought up this old story again, I felt somehow forced to do so
#8: A chatfilter for messages like " xyz drops a zxy, your party reserves it for.." etc.
#9: Some better rewards for hunting down bosses in remote (!) locations. Currently it's like, "Look, there are 2% morale boost waiting to be collected" and not "Uh, cool, a boss, I'd really want to know if we can kill him and if he drops something usable".
As stated above, this is not a rant either. It's just a small and brainstormed listing that expresses what might be an improvement for my (!) gaming experience. Others might think different about it though.
