A few days ago in Lion's Arch, I took my mesmer's shirt off, then went and stood next to monks in a way that makes it look like they're smelling my armpits. I love doing this to monks because their models are always shorter. Anyway, I was following one around, not actually saying anything but everytime she stopped stopping next to her in the correct position, and she said something to the effect of "stop or ill report u." So my question is, can I get reported for doing this?
Is forcing people to smell your armpits abuse?

try doing that in RL, and see if you'll get arrested. |
oh good if the whining has reached this point then maybe we should change the name of the game to Report Wars and just see how many people we can report, by the way, try running around with a pet off of a leash in real life, you can lose the pet and be fined, and try standing in front of someone and not letting them by, like in one of the missions, in real life that is sexual harrassment, so as long as guild wars is real life now i think we need lawyer henchmen we can take with us, and the ability to sue others for gold.

If you honestly believe that this is a legitimate way of treating others then you have just as serious of problems as the OP.

do believe the issue here isn't armpits or leashes... or even lawyer henchies (though that's pretty damn cool
) but just plain harrassing someone. Since, unlike in real life, you don't have the option to slap, knock out teeth or anything other kind of retaliation other than public flaming... which does little since most griefers seem to enjoy it, a possibility to report would be nice. Another need for an ingame police function. This isn't about whining or being too sensitive with the report function (report wars??? wtf dude) it's about not having any other "stfu and leave me alone!" function.

that's part of the lawyer skill set
"Liability"
-Liability
Targetted player's weapons and items are labelled for safety for 10 seconds. Using these weapons or items will result in 5-45 dmg and loss of 10 gold. (att: litigation)
Let's try to add to it.
-Class Action
target ally loses 1-3 gold per second for 10 seconds. At the end of this enchantment, all enemies lose 5-10 gold each (att: solicitation)
-Contempt
target ally gets targetted by all mobs while losing 10% of their current gold. (att: public defense)

hahahaha good post, but seriously, if you can report someone for where they are standing, because it looks like you are sniffing their armpit, thats just stupid, and it will be abused.

I lied.
Why should HE have to leave a district, HE is the one being abused, and should not have to do anything for it to stop. I really wish there were special districts that were pay to play only, just so I could avoid all you mucktards. Wow, Im gonna go post that idea.
