Just a quick question. I'm sorry if it has been asked before.

Is there a way to see if a specific player is currently online?

It's quite difficult to find players i know without the use of instant messaging software.

Maybe i'm missing something.

If you add them to your friends list [N], you can see if they're online.

Put the players in your friends list and when you pull it up it will tell you whether they are online or not.
