More Weapon Flavours?
Sir_Sid
I don't mean to complain, but I'm wondering if there is any new, interesting weapon stats going to appear in the game.
Now, don't get me wrong - hear me out here. I am not asking for crazy Diablo II weapon stats, or super weapons.
I just wish to see more balanced, interesting stats... stuff that give the weapons some variety.
Anybody agree, or have something to add?
P.S. I am not asking for new weapons (Although they would be nice. I wanted a huge, double handed long sword for the longest time, heh).
Thanks for your time,
-Gubru

Unfortuantely I don't think they can come up with much more weapon mods. They already have some covering the important ones, however, i can think of some minor ones they could be able to add.
+15% Damage while Chatting
+5 Armor against Flaming
+2 ____ (Your stats here) while sitting down
These might work out, other than that, ANet probably isn't all focused on it, unfortunately, best wait for expansions though.

well i agree i know of sumthing that gives extra % damage to charr. does anybody know if theres a weapon like that for all monster types and if not maybe that would be a good upgrade. because you do have 4 weapon slots so if your doing a mission asw a low level in ascalon area and you have to fight charr/garg's you can have 1 weapon that has extra % damage for charr and 1 for extra % damage for gargie's
anybody agree or if you think its stupid share :P but good overall idea sir_sid i like it

Lampshade
They should have fist weapons, like Katars
Sir_Sid
Long swords, Great Axes, Wrist knives, Kunckle Dusters.
Shadow Aster
I'd like to see smaller, slimmer blades... rapiers, epees, and the sort.

Aaaaagh
I would like to see orange and grape, because those are my favorite and I cant find any anywhere.
On a more serious note, I have always wondered if two handed swords/axes could be implemented, one handed hammers. They arent mods, but surely would mix stuff up.

I recently switched from a wand to a staff I found in Ventari's desert (can't remember the name, west of Kryta) and it was all spikey and thorny... it looked very very cool. That was the first time I really started looking at our equipment aesthetically. In Ring of Fire I switched to a Raven Head Staff with a carved crow on the top and that too looks very cool. But you never really get to look at this stuff while fighting. I think that a lot of the thirst for variety could be solved if you could have the option to carry staves and canes, or hook swords, axes etc. on your belt, while in town.
