I just recently realized this... But as far as I can remember, monster bosses have NEVER had a color like they should. Do you have to have your graphics up to a certain level?

Whenever I hear people who say that they can't see the boss glow, they always have a very old graphics card or integrated graphics. That's probably your problem.

On a more serious note, did u try updating your video drivers?

It's the video card. I never saw the color aura's on bosses either until I changed my card. Now along with a smoother running game, I can see the colored aura's.

whatever brand of graphics you have it only supports direct x 7 and not the pixel and vertex shaders of direct x 8/9 which they use for the boss glow plus other effects as well

Lol.. Why as a matter of fact, yes it is a Nvidia card,

I'll try updating my drives for it.. It's a GeForce4 MX420.
