DYE COLOR does it work for everything

Im wondering. If i dye my chaos axe or firesword a color like blue or black will it turn that color? I know these are special items so is it possible to change the color of the axe or sword? Like a black fire sword? or a blue chaos axe?

You can change weapon or focus colours, but the amount of the effect varies.

Well, first of all, chaos axes are already blue. The middle part stays white, for the most part. Chaos axes dye extremely well, and look awesome afterwards. But beware, for they die strangely. If you want it red, you have to dye it... blue... or something... no idea...

As for dragon swords, nope. Most weapons have very little effect. All armours have _some_ effect, but not always a lot.

What about storm bows, how does dye affect those?

I heard it didn't do anything. Nor to eternal shields.

Dang then it probably doesn't work on eternal bows either.

It would've been so awesome to have a black storm bow...

There was a thread in here recently that showed what colors chaos axes become. It's very odd. All I remember for sure is that if you dye it silver it becomes glowing black and if you dye it black it becomes white. According to the thread, at least.

Another hint... try using dye remover on a chaos axe, and it will dye in the normal fashion. I tried it tonight with a dye remover and a silver dye, and now I've got a completely white chaos axe!

I dyed my chaos axe with a silver dye, pre-removal, and it went pure white, you wasted 50 gold

I tried putting dye on my felblade and it didn't seem to do anything.

Worked fine on my carapace shield though.
