Yes the Idea sounds wack but let me explain

Now that I've read alot of threads on this forum, and had my own experiences, monks can be very ignorant as well as stubborn.

I think there should be a voting system, where a team can vote out a player and hotstop it for a henchmen equivilent.

In alot of cases were monks become soo stubborn where they dont want to heal the team, and most likely leave the team, and cause a whole teams hard work go 2 waste .

Now that i think of it, there are alot of people who leave a team for whatever reasons, probably there mums are telling them to get off the game lol.

Anyway this an idea i'm sure everyone would appreciate.

Appreciate any thoughts, or build up on the idea.

This isn't a bad idea. An in-mission kick function that replaces them with henchmen? It would be useful.

How would this not be abused?

I can picture it now....

It's the end of the Mission, you're about to showdown with Markis and all of the sudden...

"Everyone drop 1 Platinum or I'm going to kick you..."

I believe the best solution would just be to automatically replace a player who Quits with a henchman. A "Live" player so this can't be used in those situations where most people are dead, the live players have no Rez. (Could disconnect, and get a live Henchmen with Rez. Could be abused.)

This idea has been discussed over and over and over again. Allow me to post the end result of the other posts.

-It would be abused, and no one can figure out a system that cant be abused (yet).

-Everyone wants a solution to this problem, but ^^

-Everyone thinks a player who drops out on their own should be replaced with an appropriate henchman.

Its a difficult subject, too many factors, i was hoping on feedback and developing of the idea.

There should be a automatic hotswappable henchmen replace system if someone disconnects, that i agree something should be put in place for that.

But instead of kicking someone, due to all kinds of ways to abuse the system, they should be a voting suspention system in place, were the whole team can vote a person who is not cooperating into spectator mode and be replaced with a henchmen, that way the person being suspended can still gain XP if the team completes the mission/quest, and stops a guild of people that all know each other voting someone right at the end of the game where he cant gain the XP he/she worked so hard for.

and of course the person who disconnects weather they were sufferieng from health degeneration or about to die would be the case for the henchmen too.

This idea would only be for missions/quests and not pvp.

what about a suspension vote instead of kicking.

Suspension/Spectatorship would proliferate low level players being dragged through Quests/Missions

Suspend me. I could then sleep though missions and still get credit for them.

Not if there was a voting system. Only if the majority of members agree on kicking somebody from the team, it's done.
If it's 50/50 the member stays.

Votes don't work they get abused. 7 people from one guild and 1 other person. The 7 guildes kick the 1 other person cause they don't like their guild. 3 experianced players are grouped with 5 n00bs (not newbs) and when they tell the n00bs what they are doing wrong they all get kicked right before the end of the mission.

All valid points BUT

I'll take my chances with the 7 guildies scenario and probably won't party with them. This is a PUG plague anyway.

I'd say a unanimous vote to kick someone should be implemented. That would take care of the second part of the problem you stated. If you party with seven unrelated jerks then you probably wouldn't succeed in the mission anyway.

The mini-map is the most abused "anonymously". Figure out a way to identify the griefer, boot his/her sorry ass and then watch the quality of play and quantity of courtesy rise dramatically.

Dragging griefing noobs through missions is intolerable.

Just some thoughts.

Sounds unfair, but it's still a democracy, isn't it?
