Last night i saw couple +4 energy selling for 4.5k to 6k (asking price), so +3 mostly would falls into 1k-3k range.

the real value is how much ppl willing to pay. i've seen +5 is around 25-35k, +4 3-10k (i sold 2 at 10k/7.5k, bought one at 3k), +3 i would guess 1-3k as well.

i doubt ur 3 energy would even sell. i rather add 15 extra health than 3 energy.

There are probably two reasons one would prefer a staff than offhand+weapon combo.
1) There is no offhand for the build.
like smite when you have to use a staff.
2) you have lots of enchantment spells.
