elementalist help

does anyone have any advise for me about what i should choose 4 a secondary trait 4 elementalist out of necro, mesmer and monk im looking for the best combination dealing with a good damage and fairly good energy recharge

From start, a monk secondary will be easiest, followed by necro then mesmer. As the game progresses, however, that switches around, and the mesmer secondary becomes your best choice. A mesmer secondary can aid an elementalist in many ways, be it stealing energy, some dot's or disrupting those who would disrupt you. It is difficult playing a mesmer secondary from start because you won't have access to the skills you need right away. Now, this is true in most cases, but with the monk your helpful right from the get go, with easy access to skills like Ressurection. Necro has access to some useful skills early on, but nothing that you can put to much focus on.

Since your looking for damage, go with mesmer. It will with best with your elementalist in the long run. Good luck.

Mesmer might prove to be a viable option being that it has some great interupt/energy steals for you. (this question actually belongs in the Campfire though)
