Dead men don't wear plaid

And just sometimes, dead men shouldn't be talking either.
Here's the mission report:
We're in the iron mines of something (forgot the name)
5 of 8 are already down. It's me (ranger) another ranger and a healer trying to bring a lvl28 boss down.
Since the boss picked me as a target the healer has his/her hands full healing me, while I and the other ranger slowly, but steadily, are bringing down the boss.
Some dead guy demands to be resurrected.
The healer denys, arguing that this would be a stupid idea at the momen.
Dead guy goes on, insisting to be resurrected.
Healer insists on that being a stupid idea, being busy with all the healing.
Dead guy goes on and on and on, when all of a sudden the healer sais:
I'll proove to you that this is a bad idea.
The healer stops healing me, I'm dead within seconds, so is the other ranger, so is the healer and so is the mission.
There's a saying that goes somewhat like: "Who's dumber? The fool, or those that do follow him?"
I don't know for sure, but the mission might've been a success is some idiot healer hadn't stopped healing in the middle of a fight, trying to proove to some dead guy, that resurrecting him is a bad idea.
That's not team-spirit, that's stupidity at it's peak.

Just IGNORE those idiots. Finish what you are doing. When it comes down to the last person alive (hopefully it is a person that can Rez) that person can run away and come back and start the Rez'ing. The person that wanted to be rezzed most likely will be weak at first anyways and would die again right off. When I am dead and sucking dirt, I will say Rez me when you can because I can help Rezzing with Rebirth. But not in the middle of a fire fight.

Well it gets the point across tho. I know when I play as Monk I get awfully f'n tired of ppl screaming REZ! & such. Some ppl require a good jolt to make them understand certain things. Not saying that I agree with the Monk's actions but... like I said before it gets the point across.
IMO the Monk should have just ignored the butthead. He should have never answered the guy at all & concentrated on his task at hand.... keeping the remaining team members alive.
When I play as Monk & someone repeatedly & annoyingly demands a rez when we are in the midst of battle I leave them down. Not only during the fight but also after. F' em! I take no crap from ppl when I'm a Monk. None... zero. Want me to heal you, rez you, take care of you? Dont be a ahole & I will.

Eh people learn best through experience.
He won't forget that lesson.
When I was a monk if someone pissed me off I'd just simply stop healing them. If they were bitching bout the group, my healing, not getting ressed, or naything like that. No heals for them, no res for them. The group is perfectly capable to carry on with 5 or 7 members.

I have to agree to Coca-Cola. If you being a jackass your just asking to be left face down. I havn't ever played a monk, but its common sense people. Ask and ye shall recive, but a dick and you shall remain face down in the dirt talking to the dasies your fellow jackasses are pushing up ATM.

Just use the following command: /ignoreidiot
Note that if any of these rangers had equipped a resurrect skill of some sort (especially a fast rez signet). You would have been able to resurrect a second monk and then the whole team. So you forgot the corollary: always equip a rez in a mission, even when you shouldn't need it. Nothing's more frustrating than a ranger/warrior who switches on an increase running speed, who successfully escapes from danger zone, and who doesn't have a rez equipped.

Yeah, do what he says, only 20 times and then you're outta spacees. If you don't have any friends, that is.

Frustrating are those who don't listen to energy warnins of monks and storm headfirst into the next battle without resting.

Ah the advantages of using Henchmen, no annoying idiots..
arnansnow
Henchman are still annoying (e.g. attacking enemies 100 feet below them on a bridge with melee attacks.)

In a cruel way, the healer proved their point and recieves my brownie points. Even if it penalized the whole team, that pushy customer will bear the shame and the crown of fools. Rage can sometimes do that, the healer was so cought up in the argument and trying to shut the other person up that they lost interest in the well-being of the party to accomplish that purpose. I most likely would have done the same and not considered myself at fault at all.
Disappointing how blatantly bad plans are cuncocted in peoples' heads and that's what really penalizes a team. My monk runs into these useless players so I just cast Ward Against Douchebags and turn off all chat channels and heal on my own time.
Such as this one time when the party was being led by this mesmer who thought the world owed her and kept leading us on suicide runs then made a racial remark on my monk's name and denies it when I see it en pleine face in the logs, kept yammering on about this elite skill or that series of consec. wins in team arenas and dared to compare me to other monks. Needless to say she was cut off my line of sight for healing but was taken care of by the other monk. I still think back and wish I could have been more of an annoyance to her, you'll have to trust me on this, she was a czar of pests.

It does indeed get the point across. At the same time, the player making the point just ruined a mission that might have ultimately been successful and wasted a bunch of time of the other players. Yes, yes, I'm sure Mr. Noisy got the idea but I seriously doubt he'll change and now everyone has to start that mission over again. I don't know about you, but some of those missions/quests take hours and you do them over and over trying to be successful and something like this can warp you.

I guess I have nothing to worry about, being at the point of FUBAR and all.
