IMO it's those "bad word" seed monsters. Life Pods atm, i hate them.
You know, the ones that pop up when your fighting a group of monsters and start healing the crap out of whatever your fighting. Then they cast Holy Wrath on my target!
Hydras...I know they are not that bad, but when I was coming up in ranks they were...they seemed abnormally hard to pass no matter what we did. I hated them like no other enemy.
Na the worst monster is the warrior in the group that runs off to aggro the next set (yes yes I play a warrior and fully know about the adrenaline), don't wait for anyone then complain when they die that no one healed them or helped them.
Jade scarabs and hydras esp the ones on perdition rock that cast metor shower on you. BTW its not just warriors who rush in. In my group last night in the fissure we had a MONK that kept doing that. Aslo in another group we had a ranger do that. So you see its not just warriors.
I hate imps... definately worst normal monster for me... and probably most other casters. But I most hate when there's 2 M-----t bosses together. They're near impossible and even for a fully equipped high power team they take like 2 or 3 minutes to kill. One person drops and it's a stalemate, 2 people drop or have a dp and you're doomed.
Avicara. Ninjas with swords + exploding arrows.
Sand Elementals. Knockdown + massive damage.
Stormkin. Cry of Frustration on spells which take 1/4 second to cast.
The Magma Imps in the Fire Island missions. Nothing like an Immolate that lasts 7 seconds (
Nothing else even compares to those for me. All of the water elementalists, and imagined burden mesmers are annoying when I'm runing from one place to another but the imps by far take the cake.
For me ANY of the scarab type monsters are annoying. They're not as hard as many other monsters <ice worms RULEZ>, but they annoy the hell out of me, popping up in droves every three steps I take, and take a lot of killing.
I just hate the mofos and groan every encounter.
Summit Beastmasters. No matter what they always seem to get off a stopm while im casting something. Even if I wait for them all to do it, they somehow get it off!
