I hope this is in the correct forum. I tryed asking ingame but noone knew anything about it. The situation is this:
I spec my warrior for smiting and go out farming for a bit. The mobs I am hunting never hex you which makes life a little easier. The skill in question is Orison of Healing. Costs 5 energy, takes 1 second to activate and 2 seconds to reload. I do all my preliminary skills and start combat, then I spam Orison of Healing a few times and it all works as plan. The problem is, every once in a while, it takes no less than 10 seconds to reload Orison of Healing.

Can someone explain or knows why this is happeneing. I know that I have no hexes on me and it does not happen all the time, but its bugging me.

Thanks

Are you sure it's not because you're out of energy?

I think there are certain skills used against you that interrupt the current skill you are casting and make it take longer to recharge. This has happened to me.

Ranger mobs are most likely. You don't see the distracting shot on yourself but it makes the recharge time of the spell take 20 seconds longer. There's a couple mesmer skills that don't show up as hexes they just interupt and make the skill take longer to recharge as well.

Among these skills are Disrupting Shot and Disrupting Chop, both of which cause a skill to take +20 seconds to recharge.
